Submitting your publication on the Open Access Repository HAL (2h30)

This asynchronous training is to be followed on Arche https://arche.univ-lorraine.fr/course/view.php?id=30873 at your own pace (about 2 hours) and will be supplemented by a 30-minute discussion time, by videoconference, during which you can ask your questions. Several debriefing sessions are planned during the year, you can choose the one that suits you best (practical information and Teams link on Arche).

HAL is an open repository, i.e. a platform that allows both long-term archiving and open access dissemination of scientific production. HAL is at the heart of the Open Science strategy at the national level (National Plan for Open Science, CNRS, ANR, etc.) as at the univeristy of Lorraine. The HAL Univ. Lorraine portal officially opened in May 2016 and became the University's official bibliography in 2018.

During this training you will address the issue of open access to scientific publications via self-archiving in open repositories as well as the use of HAL (managing your account, your publications and depositing references and full text).
