Introduction to Open Science

For more than 300 years, the publication of articles, chapters or conference papers has been the main method for disseminating scientific knowledge. The digital transition has turned this model on its head: open dissemination, new proofreading methods, enriched content and links with research data. New forms of publication, journals and publishers have emerged, transforming all disciplines - sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. This evolution continues, and this course will provide PhD students with an insight into this changing context and how they can contribute to this transformation.

Follow the activities on ARCHE at your own pace (approx. 2.5 hours) and finish the module by taking part in one of the 4 online debriefing sessions (please note that the debriefing will be shared with the other course in the module).
